Meet the Newsteam!

Hey, I'm Heather Huntley with Cedar Cliff News and I'm in 10th grade. I'm from Asheville, North Carolina and I was born and raised here. Some of my interests outside of school are hanging with my friends and family and I also work quite a lot throughout the week. I work at Dunkin right next to A.C. Reynolds High School. I also really love singing and it's what I do most of the time. Some of my interests in school are writing about things and I love cooking in Foods. I also love Apparel and making clothes in the class. I obviously love hanging with my friends and walking around with them in the mornings and hanging in the parking lot. 

Helllo !! My name is Jermyiah ! I am a senior class of 2023; I’m from Asheville, North Carolina.  In school my favorite subject has to be history; I’m very curious about life before me.  My interest outside of school is hair ! I’ve always loved hair growing up and it wasn’t a shocker that I ended up a hairstylist!

I’m Parker Acuna, one of the members of the CCN team. I'm a junior.  I used to live in San Diego, California, until summer of 2021, when I moved to Asheville.  I have many different hobbies and interests, such as music (both playing and listening to it), watching tv, and computers. Computers fascinate me. I’m also very interested and fascinated in space.

My name is Makayla Chambers.  I'm a reporter at the Cedar Cliff News, at Reynolds High. This is my first semester in this broadcasting class. I'm from Asheville, North Carolina.  I love basketball, I might not ‘‘look like’’ that type but yes, I love it. So far I'm still new to this, but I love this class.

Zam McHugh is a sophomore here at A.C. Reynolds joining Cedar Cliff News as an anchor and cameraman.  Aside from being one of your reporters, he enjoys participating in the school theater productions and plays electric bass as a personal hobby.  Zam has never had reporting experience prior to this, but so far he enjoys it a lot and plans on joining the broadcast team from now on.
